Sleep Problems

My primary specialty is in the treatment of sleep disorders and problems. The majority of my patients have concerns with insomnia, including problems falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up early, with related distress or functional issues. I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), which is the front-line treatment for insomnia by the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, National Institute of Mental Health, and the American Psychiatric Association.

I also have extensive experience in other common sleep problems, such as hypersomnia, nightmares, circadian rhythm disorders, CPAP/APAP exposure or adjustment, trauma-related disturbance, and sedative-hypnotic cessation.
